1. Click on
the “My Computer” icon on the desktop and double click “Dial-up Networking.” If you cannot find “Dial-Up Networking” in
“My Computer” window then go to “Control Panel” and you will find “Dial-Up Networking”
in that window.

Double click “Make New Connection.” 
3. Where it
says, “Type a name of the computer you are dialing,” type: VIP NetLink.

Then click “Next”
5. Enter your local telephone dialup number in the area code and telephone number area.
Make sure the above phone numbers are a local call for you so that you will not
be billed toll charges. You should also check with your phone company that
you have unlimited (unmeasured) local calling.
6. After you click the “finish” button, a new icon will appear displaying
the new connection you created. Click on the new icon once so that it is
hi-lighted. Next, click the “File” pull down menu and then select “Properties.”

You
should now be back in the window that says “Dial-Up Networking” and you should
see the dial-up icon (VIP NetLink) that was created when you made the new connection.
Double click on this icon, type in your VIP NetLink username and password that
you selected during the registration process to connect to the Internet, if
you are out of Houston area, please type in "username@vipnetlink.com"
as your username and click on Connect.
