Do I have to use VIP NetLink browser in order to connect to the Internet? No.
You do not have to use VIP NetLink browser to connect to the Internet. You can
use dial-up networking and connect to the Internet.

Can I check my e-mail using Outlook Express or Eudora?
Yes you can check you e-mail using Outlook Express or Eudora. Our
POP3 Server name is pop.vipn.net and our SMTP Server name is smtp.vipn.net

Why can't I connect to the Internet?
It gives me a message saying that my username or password is incorrect.
Please note that if you are living outside of Houston (Texas), then
your username will be "username@vipn.net". Verify that you are typing
them in exactly as you provided them to us when you signed up. This
includes making sure you put lower case and upper case where it
is supposed to be. If you're not sure whether your userID/password
is lower case or upper case, it is probably lowercase. If this doesn't
solve the problem, try restarting your computer. Many times this
corrects the problem when all else has failed. |
